Hi guys,
It's always a little emotional coming back to NYC after a trip down south, and it seems like the better the trip, the harder the return. To keep myself from getting too down, I find it helpful to think about things I am thankful for, despite my non-ideal location. In this spirit tonight, I thought I would tell you all how incredibly thankful I am to have such an amazing group of friends. Your constant love and support help me stay optimistic while I am away. I always knew we had a special group, but I don't think I ever truly appreciated it until I moved away. I am astonishingly lucky to have you all.
Not everybody's gang would drive 3 hours out of their way for a surprise dinner... or send a card... or do any number of things you all do for me and for each other.
