Major Apartment Score

Hey guys,

I took the apartment I went to see today. MAJOR win for me. Here's the lowdown:

- Starts Oct 1, which overlaps my current lease, so I can move in whenever in October. Runs until next August (no more moving every 2 months!)
- Lower east side (523 Grand St) - decent, not to dense area. Safe.
- Third floor of a building that only contains 2 apartments (figure that out). Only other tenants are personal friends of my new roommate. We own the building.
- Big kitchen with a table just like the one at Stinson St. A table!!
- Room will fit bed, desk, and dresser. Big closet. Have to buy some furniture tho.

Roommate
- Grew up in Chapel Hill (holy shit). Huge UNC fan.
- Graduated from Binghamton 09, so he's our age.
- Super-friendly, loves meeting new people (aka you guys when you come visit - I'm sure he'll be down)
- Very normal, tolerable human being to live with (it seems)
- Bisexual - yes, bisexual.

Kicker:
- FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS CHEAPER than my current place. 500!!! OMG!!1!!one! (still more expensive than your rent though...)

I'm excited, bisexuality aside.
