Hello Beachers,

Things are pretty uneventful here. Had a very low key weekend - lots of football watching and internet surfing. I'm back in the housing search again. This time I'm looking for something long(er) term. It's a bitch to have to find a new apartment every couple of months. I'm actually going to check out a place tomorrow after work that would have me living with a Chapel Hill native, which could be pretty cool. Hopefully it will be tolerable, because it's really cheap (for here - still way more than anything in NC...)

Update on the October visit:
Stephanie and I were really hoping to be able to cement our plans to visit Raleigh/CH, but given Stephanie's test the week after, she's not completely comfortable predicting that she will be able to take the weekend off this far in advance. That said, we both really want to spend that weekend in NC.
Soooo, the plan is for me to go ahead and buy a plane ticket to Charlotte, since if I wait, they'll just get more expensive. We will plan on having Stephanie pick me up at the airport and drive to CH. By flying into Charlotte, however, we will have the backup option of bailing and going to Columbia if Stephanie needs to spend more time in the lab that weekend. Hopefully we wont have to do that, but we had to be able to, just in case.
