Well that wasn't supposed to happen

Hello all!

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather. I myself went through two pairs of soaking wet pants yesterday. Christine and Logan are coming up this weekend to help get the fish tank so hopefully the rain will stop by Saturday afternoon.

On Monday, I got into a car accident. Person in front of me slammed on their brakes, I the same, lady behind me hit me. I initially had just hit my head really hard on my headrest and my glasses flew off my face. But when I woke up and couldn't turn my neck Tuesday morning, it was pretty obvious something else was wrong. The doctor diagnosed me with whiplash which extends from my left ear, down my neck, to my shoulder and upper back (both sides). So far I'm doing ibuprofen, icing, and muscle relaxers at night. The doctor said it typically takes a day or two for all the symptoms to come out which makes feeling more pain and stiffness not surprising. THANKFULLY both mine and the lady's insurance is covering all of my costs including replacing my bumper, the rental car, and my med bills. If I don't feel significantly better by tomorrow I think I'll go to physical therapy just to be safe. I'd rather be overcautious than risk having to pay thousands of dollars in bills over the next year or two. Also, the lady who hit me was pregnant. Obviously I was way more worried about her than me but she went to the doctor and believes everything should be OK. Pretty vague answer from her, but I wasn't going to dig. I'm sure her and her partner (yuppers) are pretty worried.

No swimming for me :( Other than that, I'm feeling more up in spirits than I was Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kyle and I have finally cleaned up most of the mess incurred by moving our furniture around and taking down decorations. We also cleaned out our back closet (!!!) and you can actually walk into it now. I'm so excited for the fish tank. It's going to look awesome.

The weekend before Thanksgiving my parents are going to be in town so Kyle and I will probably not be available to hang out. But I'm going up to Boone on Tuesday and Kyle on Wednesday so we can hang out then and/or on Saturday at Krishna's place.
