So, I just got the big envelope...

Hey Guys,

So I just found that I have have been accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the Medical College of Georgia (in Augusta, GA where Krishna and I interviewed on Oct. 28th!). It's not my first choice (I really want to go to UNC- but they like most schools don't interview til Feb so I have a while to wait on that one), but it's a good program and I really liked all of the students that I met there and I was accepted as out of state so I am feeling pretty good!

They don't give acceptances to medical school applicants until about 4-6 weeks after the interview, so we are still waiting to find out if Krishna will get in- although I think he probably will because he did part of his interview in spanish! However, I have to reply soon, so I am going to accept and send in a deposit for now and be happy to have a safety school. Also, I just found out this past week that I have been invited to interview at George Washington University on Friday, December 4th. I am very excited because I love D.C. at Christmas, I am hoping that Krishna and I will be able to spend that weekend in the city. Also, I really like their program- they do clinicals abroad so I could spend part of my time studying in Australia which I've always wanted to do.

Aside from that, Krishna and I had a nice relaxing weekend. Friday was special person's day at my sister's school in Raleigh where I attended 8th grade, so I had fun doing that and spending the morning going to lunch and shopping with her. Saturday was her 14th birthday so Krishna and I spent the day in Raleigh celebrating with her (Krishna was cute and got her the New Moon soundtrack for her b-day which she was excited about). Krishna's parent's said that they had a great time going out to dinner with Warren and especially liked the story about how Krishna and I are just like Mary and Rao in that I talk whether or not Krishna is really listening, so he claims.

Next weekend, I think our friend, Chris, will be in town so we will probably be pretty busy. But we are really excited about our Friends-style Thanksgiving dinner on the Sat. after Thanksgiving and seeing Warren and hopefully Stephanie then and of course hanging out with the whole group! I hope everyone had a great weekend and I miss you all!!!

Love,
Stina
