Update from Boone

Hey guys!

I hope everyone is doing well. Just thought I would update everyone on what most of us call home.

They've started tearing down buildings along 421, in front of New Market, to make room for the much-needed widening of that road. Of course they wait to start right when school starts and all of the app students come back. It looks different up through there already.

The mania that is App football is in full swing. Fan fest is this Saturday. Most of you might know that Armanti Edwards, app's qb, got hurt while mowing his lawn, but he is expected to start the season opener at ECU.

As far as my life goes, it has been a pretty uneventful, yet pleasant summer at home. Partly because none of you were here for there to be a curfew issue haha. I have become quite domesticated this summer. Mowing the lawn, painting, doing laundry, vacuuming, etc. have been weekly duties for me around here, but I've had a lot of fun.

I was planning on coming back down to the Hill tomorrow (thursday) but we are redecorating our living room and we got a call yesterday that we could pick up the new furniture on Friday, so I'm staying till Saturday morning to help get all of that situated. I guess that's it...
